All four projects included the design, collection, tabulation, and analysis of both public and proprietary data to determine: Market Size, Sales Potential, Channels, Customer Desires & Purchase Intentions, and Customer Perceptions of IBM and its competitors. Another client, a retail apparel chain, requested our services to help them measure the size of their market and to identify the key customer segments of that market. This study helped our client to identify an additional $5 Million a year in new sales opportunities.

Recently, we completed a Market Potential study for a national computer software company. This study required an extensive telephone survey of key decision-makers within the Medical, Criminal, and Judicial branches of Federal, State, and Local Governments.

The results of our study indicated a positive market demand for our client's products . The results of our study also helped us to identify the most likely customers for this product and the obstacles that needed to be overcome, or minimized, in order to penetrate this market.

Another client, a leading national hardware manufacturer, faced a unique situation. They retained our services to conduct a study to determine potential customer reaction to a packaging change they were considering. There were literally millions of dollars at stake in making the right decision. The results of our extensive study helped them to make that important decision.

APS (Arizona Public Service) is the largest electric utility in the state of Arizona. In preparation for the soon-to-be-deregulation of the utilities market, APS asked Strategic Insight to conduct a comprehensive Market Feasibility Study in Arizona for a proposed new service that APS was considering.

Personal interviews with key industry personnel, research of competitors’ offerings & capabilities, and an extensive telephone survey of targeted customers for this new service helped APS to make the right business decision regarding the future sales & profit potential of this new service.

Strategic Insight has also designed and implemented a Market Potential study for a bio-remediation firm. This project was completed within 30 days to the complete satisfaction of the client.
